Public Launching of Seafood City App

By Ryan Tejero

Seafood City in Sugarland, TX, the only Seafood City (SFC) Store in Texas, had recently released its SFC App. The public can now upload SFC App on their mobile device and use it to complete their online grocery shopping. SFC had just made shopping easy for its patrons. California-based SFC Executive Elewin Rabaya informed the public during the launching of the App in the store’s social hall about the many benefits of signing up for the App. He also explained that SFC is partnered with many corporate organizations. Those with the App can avail of promotions and discounts for SFC’s partner organizations.

SFC is partnered with SM Development Corporation and Bayani Pay. If interested in investing on urban residential properties in the Philippines, FilAms can use the SFC App to avail of offers and discounted prices through SMDC. Bayani Pay is a remittance company that offers no service fee for transferring money from the US to the Philippines. This service is not available yet in Texas, but had started already in California.

The public launch of SFC App was attended by FilAm community leaders and organizations. Store Manager JP thanked One Philippines for the coverage of the event. Everyone who attended the event received food packs courtesy of Seafood City. Those who also signed up for the App onsite received sacks of rice.

Publisher and CEO of One Philippines Bhong Zausa issued a statement. He stated that “We are so lucky to Seafood City in Houston. Many of our kababayans patronize Seafood City because everything that every Filipino home needs can be purchased from Seafood City. I am glad that there is Seafood City App now as it will make our lives easier. Thank you Seafood City.”
