Philippine Association of Beaumont Texas Welcomes New Officers


On June 9, 2024, the Philippine Association of Beaumont Texas (PABT) held a ceremony at the Major Event Center to welcome its new officers. Beaumont City Mayor Roy West and Consul Gilbert Segarra from the Philippine Consulate in Houston attended the event.


Introducing Japs Cauilan


The new president, Vincent Jaspher "Japs" Cauilan, has a background rooted in hard work and perseverance, born to a modest family in Quezon City. Japs’ career includes significant achievements such as the Vice Presidential Award for Leadership and the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Leadership Award. A graduate of Our Lady of Fatima University with a Bachelor's in Nursing, he is passionate about helping others.


Leadership and Community Impact


Japs’ leadership style is shaped by his corporate experience and active involvement with Rotary International, where he led 58 service projects as the first Rotary Club President to serve from abroad. His contributions earned him the title of Most Outstanding Club President and 37 awards.


Since moving to Beaumont, Japs has continued his service by rebranding PABT and organizing key events. He also runs Levox Creative Studio, a digital marketing agency.
