John Whitmire: We did it! Now the real challenge begins.

Hello friend, 

We did it! Our collective efforts have resulted in a resounding victory that speaks volumes about the dedication and commitment of our supporters and team for a better Houston. We are thrilled to share with you the outstanding work of our campaign:

• 180,000 doors knocked

• Over 3 million phone calls made

•  62,000 voter ID’d

• Thousands of yard signs placed

These numbers represent the sheer determination and passion each of you brought to this campaign. Your hard work, enthusiasm, and belief in my plan for Houston were instrumental in securing this victory.

Now, the real challenge is ahead, and I look forward to working with all of you to make Houston work for everyone! Our focus on public safety, infrastructure, and city services will be our guiding principles as we unite our city. I am already working to meet the expectations of the great people of our city. I am excited and overwhelmingly grateful for your trust in me. 

This victory belongs to every one of us, and I couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved together and to see what the future holds.
