About Us
An instrument in promoting Diversity in the Filipino American Community
For 15 years now, One Philippines Texas News Magazine serves as the only Filipino American newsmagazine in the State of Texas. Home-based in Houston, we are circulating monthly online, and in print of more than 10,000 copies to other main cities of Texas, and neighboring states of New Mexico, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.
One Philippines has been instrumental in promoting diverse interests in the Filipino American community which include business, healthcare, politics, culture, community leadership and partnership. One Philippines is the organizer of the Fiesta Ko Sa Texas, which is the biggest indoor community event in the State of Texas. Its main goal is to bring together everyone in the community to promote culture appreciation through entertainment, food tasting, business promotions and non-profit involvement. Each year, for 8 years now, Fiesta Ko Sa Texas gathers families, youth, professionals, and friends in the community to enjoy a fun-filled variety show and pageantry.
